Thank’s everyone who came to our party last week. It was awesome to see peeps show up from all across Colorado to help us celebrate. Most of you probably missed the late night trials and tall bike riding. After nearly everyone left, the party was actually just beginning at 9pm:
We were excited to see people opening up their wallets in support of the BoneDale Bike Project. All raffle proceeds and donations at our party went to the BB Project. This community non-profit helps keep old bicycles rolling and teaches kids about bike maintenance and safety... A great cause worthy of your support.
In the media:
We've had a few mentions lately which we always appreciate!
We were delighted to have the BikePacker.com (previously BikepackerMagazine) crew make it to town for our party last week and write a feature article for their website.
There is also a cover shot and mention by guest blogger Ron R for BikePacker who is on tour in the South.
An article "Pedal for the Sky" in Elevation Outdoors about Bikepacking in the San Juans. If you're wondering what to get done before it gets too cold, a trip to the San Juans should certainly be on your list right now!
Right now in Vail: Geoff is running our display booth at the Vail Outlier Festival. Find our booth and check out out goods there Today (Saturday) and Sunday... Plus demo bikes, race, etc. (Sept 9th-11th)
Next weekend (Sept 18th) the Golden Giddyup in Golden CO. Not yet sure if we'll be there, but, looks like a good time!
Sept 24th the No Man's Land Film Festival is happening right next door to our shop in Carbondale. Check out this fun teaser video from their premier festival last year. The No Man's Land is a film festival dedicated to Women in the outdoors... All genders are welcome to attend... just don't expect any brawny dudes on stage or in the films! We are excited to help sponsor the event this year!
Getting past the setup phase for our new shop is awesome... And has given me (Kevin) fresh energy for some new design work. Does it get any better than surrounding yourself with tools and designing cool s##t? No, I don't think so! We're also very grateful for all the positive customer feedback:
“… your zipperless designs are: Awesome, Brilliant, Efficient, Practical, more Durable than zipper designs, and....did I say Awesome.”
“…The bag is awesome and I'm going to be hitting you guys up for another one soon!”
“Thanks for getting my bag done so quickly, it looks great and fits the bike very well. I am confident that you could use the pattern for my bike to make other frame packs for a Med Borealis Echo and the costumer would be very happy with what they got.”
“The bag came in yesterday and after installing it and taking it for its first spin today I can say that this bag is phenomenally well built and I can't wait to order that next bit of gear from you guys!”
“Thank you so much for getting my pack to me so quickly. It's so rare to get such personalized service and helps much in my preparation for my bike trip around the Annapurna Circuit and beyond. I will go to your website first when looking for bike packs.”
“Just wanted to say thanks for the great gear you made for me last year!! Keep up the great work!”
